No purpose to “put away” meals that aren’t made by your sims

With this last update we where given the option to “put away” meals that our sims didn’t make, which on paper sounds very handy…until you realize that you are forced to either eat the food, and be left with a plate you can’t get rid of by having your sim wash the plate, or put it in a dish washer, instead you have to manually drag the plate to a trash can, sink,or dish washer to fully get rid of the plate.I have a small business in which I run culinarily cooking classes and mentoring, but when I have my customers cook, for my “employees” to mentor them they cook a bunch of meals and then just leave plates behind, so I’m not able to properly dispose of those meals, because my sim isn’t the one who made those dishes the customers did.

what I would like to see: that meals prepared by other sims can not just be ”put away” but also allow the player to drag and either trash, or be sold regardless of the person who made it as well, especially because if I’m running a small business why would the customers care what I do with their meals that I mentored them in the process of them cooking the meal, especially if they just leave them behind anyways.

SimulationBuilds i know that’s what the patch notes say, but my game is fully updated, and it still won’t let me drag and get rid of plates made by other sims,I tested it last night…I had a small business residential ,in which I had the customers activities to be to cook, and yet I can’t drag and drop the foods made by those customers.

  • This patch added in the ability to drag food made by other sims into a fridge, You may have nissed that part.
