Pack idea for the sims 4

This may sound silly but I think it would be pretty cool for the sims to be able to view the Northern Lights in some way. I'd also like to see birdwatching become a hobby for the sims. The binoculars and the outfit with the hat. It would be funny and fun.

  • I love both of these ideas. Having more winter-themed things (Northern Lights, etc.) would add a lot to the seasonal play. I get that it would technically only be an improvement for players who have Seasons, but at this point, I think most people do, so having some pack-specific free updates would be nice. With the current limited-time event giving rewards that are pack-specific, maybe this is more possible to do now?

It is mood. See aurora but sims can't look at it or see aurora from tropical area feel ehhh

  • I think there is bird watching in game, as an idle animation for sims going on walks/hikes. Would be nice if they brought bird watching as an active interaction/activity for sims, it could tie in with the bird feather collection and the bird feeder and would be a nice hobby for sims to explore. They could add more bird pictures and feathers and a functional bird bath would be nice too.

  • Yes I would love birdwatching and sim watching lol don't get too upset if they catch they will get mad, I would like too add animal tracking like tracking or bird prints and all the animals in the Sims world.

  • If you have Eco Living, the aurora is visible in neighborhoods with a Green Eco Footprint.

  • I'd love birdwatching vessme what a great suggestion! It could be similar to the Entomology skill/butterfly and moth collecting from Adventure Awaits which also added the ability to place each species on a lot from build mode. It would be so sweet if we could place a little robin or sparrow on a lot, maybe with a little nest 🐦. We could have different native birds for different worlds. Perhaps we could have the birds from the feather collection from Cats and Dogs. Sims would have to visit each world to locate them.

Currently I use the wild bird home from Cottage Living quite a lot as well as the bird feeders from Backyard Stuff but a hobby around birds would be great. My friends and I are looking after a lost racing pigeon at the moment who keeps bringing wild pigeons home with him and that has attracted a lot of other species of birds too. So birds are suddenly taking up a lot of our time. We were clueless so we're having to learn about feeding, shelter, we've even had to help him chase off predators. As I'm typing this I've literally got a backyard full of noisy birds 🐦‍⬛! We've also got wild peacocks where I am in the countryside and I can hear them a lot in spring/summer but I'm the only person I know who has yet to find them...and yes I do have binoculars lol. I keep thinking wouldn't this be fun in the Sims.

Northern lights watching would be great in first person camera mode also. At the moment I love the glow worm light effect in Adventure Awaits where they light up the Electric Lagoon. I also like to switch to first person camera on the water in Sulani and have a good view of the horizon at night.
