Pack ideas

I missed the survey but things I'd like to have in the sims

  • quilting/sewing. I know we have knitting but as a quilter itd be fun to be able to sew and make quilts my sims can display and use. Imagine sitting down foe a movie and they pull out a quilt they made to get cozy with. Could also make clothes too. Could include a designer career for sewing clothes. Could also make cross pack play where you get the wool and then have to spin your own thread.
  • In game character augmentation- take your sims to get a tattoo or haircut,  be able to get plastic surgery,  piercings.
  • Negative life events - I don't like once a family has money I have to go out of my way for them to lose it and honestly have to try to not start to make money. I doubt EA would ever approve like gambling in game but something like that. It'd be more fun if something negative would happen. Ideally it'd be a serting from nothing random bad from the pack happens to it's common. Thay way simmers who love the happy vanilla gameplay don't have to have it.
  • Sports teams. I know we have football from high school years and sure you can kick a soccer ball and sort of play basketball but not really. It'd be fun for the kids and even teens/adults to join a baseball, tennis, volleyball, basketball,  swim, kickball, etc team. Even skateboarding. Would also be fun to be professional athlete with live careers for a sports pack. This could also be an opportunity to add in more gym equipment to build fitness since the fitness pack did not really include what simmers wanted for gyms. Stationary bikes, dumbells, barbells, cable machine/pull up bar, kettle bells, etc.
  • Extreme sports pack (imagine all the new death types). Rafting,  base jumping, skydiving, surfing, hang gliding, etc. We have an aspiration for this but it's basically rock climbing which got old super fast.
  • A zoo pack would be fun but I know the chronically online sims community could be upset but could create an animal sanctuary pack. To help preserve the animals. Sims could visit one or own one, again potential for live career.
  • Arcade/circus/fair pack.
  • Im not sure how to do it, maybe a stuff pack, but I'd like 'witches'. Yes we have spell casters but I want more the mother nature/dark witch style. It can sort of be achieved between the paranormal,  spell caster, and vampire packs but even then it's not exactly what I was hoping for.
  • Any pack that could allow for multi use lots. I create "multi use" lots now but it's like a gym and a cafe, a museum and a restaurant.  A "lot" that doesn't have special characteristics with one that doesn't really matter.
  • Please give us a way to take better family photos. I use poses to do it now but it's clunky and annoying. For a game that supposed to be story telling and support generational gameplay it's crazy it's so hard to have nice family photos to have in your house and pass down. I know we have photography so asking for a game pack where I pay more again to have something that's in the game but doesn't function well is wild, but id pay for a cheaper pack to save the hassle (not expansion pack).

Seriously a sewing/quilting pack. A lot of quilt shops have something called block of the months where it's one block of a quilt a month for a year and then it makes a quilt. You could do a true life long aspiration, or at least close to it, where you complete a block of the week, or whatever time frame, make a quilt and these are only able to be gained through gameplay, no cheats to unlock them. Have a handful of patterns so if you want to see them all you have to complete the aspiration multiple times. These would be in addition to the standard ones you can make with the skill. You could use groups from get together to make a quilt guild or sewing club. You could potentially run a quilt store or design fabrics. Pass quilts down to future generations. If you did clothes you could sew your children's clothes, maybe a prom dress. My mom made several of our dresses for special events growing up. We don't have anything in the game like quilted clothes fashion which was a trend for awhile. Could be a good opportunity to bring in better pet beds as they could be called "quilted" and actually have shape and complexity rather than the flat ones. Could there be a way to make it so we can chose to cover bedding with a quilt and now there's more "options" for how the beds sheeting looks but through gameplay rather than build mode. If you do this please look at designs of fabric from tula pink, and ruby star society as well as more classic lines (think kansas troubles,  Barbara brackman, any reproduction lines). There are so many possibilities here and ones with great cross pack capability.  I started sewing when I was 10, could be gameplay for ages children and up. Add a home ec class somehow to high school years or classes at a community lot. There's so much and it add more cozy vibes which simmers tend to love, adds a hobby, and potentially live careers.
