I personally don't understand the issue, as most kits (and EPs) are normal/everyday/relatable stuff, and only some are even a bit niche themed to more era/fantasy/etc. themes. Plus, besides Bust the Dust, kits generally do not have gameplay so don't expect gameplay and features from kits.
Also, this bundle was clearly intended to be paired with the last EP, so much I wonder if it was suppose to be released at the same time, but had to push back for whatever reason.
Basically, though I know bands are a top want for players, and I am not saying you are wrong for wanting that. You just can't blame themed kits—for you not getting bands.
