Practice Makes Perfect buffs too powerful

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.107
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? This isn't a BUG bug, just a strong recommendation, so the expansions don't really matter and I don't feel like listing them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Make a Sim with the Practice Makes Perfect trait Do basically anything involved with raising skills for a while
What happens when the bug occurs? Constant +7 Focused from two buffs
What do you expect to see? +2, maybe?
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Whichever one added the Practice Makes Perfect trait

Okay, this isn't a BUG bug per se, but seriously, +7??!! And a +5 on a buff that lasts 24 hours?! I decided to try out the Practice Makes Perfect trait. After a few days of gameply, my Sim has the Momentum and Dedication buffs constantly, which wouldn't be so much of a problem if Momentum wasn't +2 Focused and Dedication wasn't +5. My Sim has lost the ability to realistically have any emotion besides Focused, because +7 is just too ridiculously high.

The issue isn't so much the strength of the buff, its that it is always a focus moodlet even when it says you are focused on creativity (or whatever I don't recall the exact text but it does say what you are focused on). My suggestions:

    • It should give you the inspired/active/playful/etc moodlet that matches the activity you are doing. I can even see a new menu choice of "practice until perfect" so you choose the single task the sim will be doing for the duration, the benefit builds up a charge, and changing tasks before it is at 100% makes you start over. In other words, it should be an active trait, not something that simply happens.
    •  If possible I would support it giving you a negative score to other moods emphasizing that your sim is only ready for mental (for example) tasks right now and everything else will be harder.
    • Once generated, have the moodlets be sticky, fading out over time or adding a debuff cooldown period. Alternatively, you can actively use the tea brewer, a bath soak, etc. to remove it. The idea here is identical to how they become too exhausted/sore for another go on the weight machine until the next day, but if they get a massage that debuff goes away.
    • To keep it from being too overpowered, add a cooldown that cannot be bypassed so you can't ramp it up again for 48 hours or something like that.
