Random Sims coming onto property to rummage through or Knock Over Trash Bin

This bug report explains so much!  I was so confused as to why I kept finding my sims' garbage cans knocked over when they hadn't had any guests and no one in the household had been angry.  The townies were frikin' doing it and I just didn't see them!!

Hi this keeps happening to me too until now but with my dumpster on my business lot (old torget house). I’m not sure if its a bug or not in my case but there are a few Sims who genuinely keep doing it mostly at night I’ve noticed. But sometimes the Sim is labeled as a Customer, and they go and rummage or even sleep in my dumpster.

I have now had this happen multiple times in a single sim day and also it happens almost every day. After they knock the bins over they oft leave, but if I interact with them in anyway (introduction/yelling at/telling them to go away) they will then feel free to enter my sims house even though they were not invited in.

This is something fairly new to me, probably since the last two new packs. I had one household with a bin out the front of the house, which was constantly knocked down. I had another household were sims were walking through the house to get to the bin out in the back yard. I have had bins knocked over before, but not as excessive as this. My current save was started after Enchanted by Nature came out. 

Playing on PC. Never any mods, or CC. All packs and most kits. 

Uninvited Sims are passing through locked doors, most headed straight to the trash cans.

Same in my game. That's so annoying!

Same here. My werewolf sim lived alone in an office the grid residential that closely resembled a campsite. Geoffrey Landgrab walked onto the property, kicked over the oil drum can, laughed and then left. My sim died and was reborn into a new family and another NPC did the same thing! He died and was reborn again... And a different NPC did it again. It's never ending! A bit like my sim's existence...

Ive noticed this happening recently. But- after they throw trash everywhere they invite themselves into my sims house and just hangout even though none of my sims invite them in or interact with them.

No no, I have this issue as well! Also, sometimes, I don't even see who it was, I just want to drag something to the trashcan and realize it hes been knocked over. Like wtf??
