My babies still aren't interacted with properly and I also still can't save lots, it says it timed out after trying to save for about a minute. Yes, I do have mods, BUT, people without mods are having this issue too. I haven't been able to save any lots in over half a year!
I should also mention I have TRIED removing my mods and cc to see if this fixes the issue before, and no, no it doesn't.
There was plenty of things fixed in today's patch, I've tested a ton of the bug fixes and they've fixed a lot of stuff. You really should test the game without your mods in the game. Today's patch was a major patch and the chances of your mods causing issues is very high.
Sometimes just removing your mods and CC isn't enough. Mods can still leave traces in the games files which is why you should do a game repair and clear the EA App cache as well.
I removed the mods, repaired the game, cleared the cahce, still nothing. I even deleted all the files in the EA Sims 4 folder so it'd make new ones, and it STILL isn't letting me save lots!
Okay small update: I'm able to save some lots. But not the ones I want to. Just the universe bullying me, I guess.
I agree with the original poster. The patch doesn't seem to have fixed the issue that was bugging me the most: saving lots to the gallery or library. I haven't had any problems with babies, but I too have not been able to save any lots for half a year. I tried again today because the patch made me hopeful, in a clean game with no mods. Didn't work, to my crestfallen disappointment. I even tried uploading a small starter home made by Maxis from the game itself and it still didn't save. I also had just updated the game, repaired it and cleared the cache. I even sometimes have trouble saving my sim families to my own library. It's so frustrating.
