Re: Cupid's Corner creating way to many random Sims

@Ulfric_Grimbrand hi I'm playing it with Gallery Sims turned off too. I had an issue recently where my Sims were being turned down a lot so I edited a load of Townies to help. I went through them all again just before adding Lovestruck.

Since adding Lovestruck I've made some groups of more datable flatmates too, just to add to the dating pool.

I don't know about you (I'm on Xbox Series X) but I also get a load of random Townies generated with bizarre outfits and all accessories showing up in Cupid's Corner and on blind dates too! So I have to go back to Other Households and find them so I can edit their outfits as well as their customisation panels.

@simsplayer818 I'm on PC, so it's not hard to edit Sims for me, it's just that playing a single Sim, trying to match a specific Sim through Cupid's Corner shouldn't take that long for them to show up. And the game doesn't need more and more game generated Sims, it generates enough the way it is.

@Ulfric_GrimbrandI agree. I've found that since For Rent I'm clearing townies out of Other Households every day. On console I find they cause lagging and sometimes even crashing if numbers become excessive.
I'd personally really love an option to be able to disable NPC creation.

After assuring that neither Sim had a pre-made Sim to match with (making certain that the other Sim was showing as Unplayed) neither Sim matched with the other.  They both generated random Sim matches. That is just wrong.

@Ulfric_GrimbrandIt seems to be completely random so far. So to improve my Sim's odds I created a few Sims to match her with and kept refreshing the matches on the app. That's worked for me.
I've cleared out the extra single Townies I didn't want and I'm doing that each day after more are generated. It's a mixture of played or unplayed Sims that are showing up. I'm moving some over into Saved Matches too to introduce new ones.
But, for a particular Sim that I want my Sim to meet I'm sending them to the same lot to bump into each other if they're not showing up in the app.

Maybe another way around it would be if only Sims registered on Cupid's Corner showed up. Because any Sim can appear on it. I have previously played Sims that are on it, but it wouldn't fit in with their character. So it could be an addition in CAS in their Customisation panel maybe, a register for Cupid's Corner button during creation. Initially I was registering them when moving them into a lot before I realised that they don't have to register and Single Sims will show up anyway.

I guess as it's a new feature our feedback will continue to improve it as we go along. (But I should quickly mention Crin wouldn't be the person to take feedback btw and doesn't work for EA).

Edit: I found the EA Guide to Cupid's Corner with tips on matching.

I'm noticing that Sims on Cupid's Corner aren't all appearing in Other Households until my Sim has invited them on a date. Then if I'm deleting them they're not all vanishing from Cupid's Corner immediately either unless I've restarted the game. I'm going back and forth from Cupid's Corner back to Other Households as I'm testing it out.

@Ulfric_GrimbrandI'm attempting to replicate what you've described in your game by getting 2 specific Sims to match on Cupid's Corner. It's now shown every single male Sim in my game except for the particular one I'm looking for. It's been around 4 hours now real time and it's now just generating random Sims for me.

Edit: I didn't expect my Sim to be matched with Servos too, bless their heart!

@simsplayer818 It's been giving me the Butler, the Ranch Hand, the Maid, the Gardener, and the Mail Lady (all of which are hidden). It's very, very frustrating (and frankly ruins Story Telling to have your Sim meeting on Cupid's Corner). I'm pretty sure if I deleted every pre-made from the game, and only had those two in the game, they wouldn't match).
