Finally my game is working after the update! Yay :)

Hey everyone

So after a very long frustrating week of trying to get my game to work after the update and convinced that EA had broken it ha! i was so close to quitting but i thought i would give it one more try last night and FINALLY MY GAME IS WORKING WOOHOO!!!!

Here is what i had to do, i went into documents selected EA, clicked on the sims 4 folder, copied all my mods into a back up mod folder that i had created on my desktop and then deleted all the mods out of the sims 4 mods folder so it was basically cleared including the resource.cfg.

i then went through all my mods (which was painstaking as i have over 2000) package files were absolutely fine but hidden deep within the folder was script mods that were broken by the update so i googled which of those scripts were up to date and just left those ones in and deleted all the others which is why its important you take the time to go through them all.

i then copied over all mods which were in the back up folder back into the sims 4 mods folder, loaded my game and it worked! i literally could've cried tears of joy :)

So here are the script mods that i have that were unaffected by the update:

Pandasama child birth mod

**bleep** mod

Lumpinou pro core collection mod

zerbu- custom preference mod

The script mods that were broken in my folder are:

Adeepindigo- all of her mods were affected but i believe she has now updated them (worth checking)

Basemental drugs mod

Basemental gangs mod

Turbo driver breast cancer awareness mod

rainbow postpartum care mod

Tmex allscripts mod

Again these are only what were affecting my game and i am sharing in the hope it helps somebody else BUT it is always worth just checking for updates on the mods you want to use :)
