Very often the Sims Team tries to pull some BS which gets swept under the rug because community members go "a modder will fix it" or "they aren't going to do anything so why bother complaining" and that's exactly why the game is in such a state of disrepair. Keep talking on their social media pages and here, demanding better treatment.
They ask us to keep criticism respectful and yet they won't treat us with respect. - EA_Cade2 years ago

Hey all,
An emergency patch has been released on EA app, Steam, Epic, Origin and Xbox now to stop the pulsing shopping cart as well as resolve the issues with pie menus.
Full notes will be posted shortly in the General Discussion board here.
- madcatz752 years agoSeasoned Vanguard@EA_Cade how about, I dunno, remove it altogether? Since it's a "test" thing as you call it?
- halloweenchild132 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Cade You guys should have known that this would cause displeasure with players and potentially health problems with those in the community who suffer from conditions related to continuously flashing/pulsing lights. Seriously, you can not be that naive nor can you claim it's a "test". Own up to the mistake and treat the community with the respect you demand the community treat you with.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH. This button needs to be removed entirely. PERIOD. Such a greedy and obnoxious move by EA. Not only are you shoving DLCs in our faces in the main menu every time the game is loaded, but now in game too??? Absolutely vile.

Mmm. Any official reaction?
We need hope. Please, tell us the game will be playable again.

I completely agree with you. This is a game played by people with multiple disabilities and who have hypersensitivity to stimuli. It is meant to be a relaxing game! What is relaxing about a constantly blinking icon in the periphery? I have autism and ADHD and have refused to even play my game again until this is removed. I would have bought the packs. I have everything up until 4 rent. But this unacceptable. This game may be free to play but EA Should remember that most of its audience has paid for every single pack they own in this game. EA Do not disrespect your audience like this. It is insensitive and wrong not too mention highly hypocritical for a game that claims to be all about inclusivity.
