I think it would be awesome to add a game pack of old vintage retro items from 50s to 90s items you would buy back in the day for example here are some that would be cool
Tiffany lamp different styles color.
Old cord phone ( could be on the wall or hooked into the wall sitting on table.
Roller skates
Kitchen cabinet to keep fine China in and other things
Old vinyls
Old school chairs, couches, tables cabinets for kitchen.
Even Old wall papers and shudders, doors.
Stained glass windows, doors and other type of Old school glass windows.
Oh my gosh can't sleep, I just have this idea EA just has to know. I want to bring the old school retro game pack. With small town and a neighborhood with a circle for Kids to play in and They incorporate that when a light comes on when the sun goes down that they need to come home. And they need to have roller skates and a fun dome to skate with music and arcade games. Need old school cars, drive in movie or movie theater, diner of old school theme. There is so much that can be this game.
@leahafer14 , I would definitely want this pack!🥳 It would be a pack about my childhood! 🥰 My mom had me come inside from playing when the streetlight came on. One day it burned out but I wasn't sure of the time since i didn't have a watch and we didn't have cellphones. It was a while before I suspected the light burned out, but you can bet I took advantage of it once I realized! 🤣 But that didn't last long because my mom came out of the house mad! 😅 I got in trouble, but it was a fun memory and we both laugh about it now! 💖
@PugLove888 Yeah i'd be really cool if they could somehow make a pack with this idea or an expansion pack. I mean there's so much that could be incorporated in it where like kids could have a can and be doing graffiti or you know getting into some mishap something we're like the parents would have to do the old school type spanking or something you know like but it's like a really fun thing I think for a game just because like if a younger generation was playing that pack and The Sims 4 I think they're big you know this is cool like I don't know.
I've been playing the sims 4 for a few years now and i have almost all the packs. and in alot of the family packs i notice a common missed oppertunity. Pre-Teens. or simply a life stage between kids and teens. a reason i say this is because in cas when your creating a child, they are completely different to teens. teens are bassicaly like 15-28 year olds in the sims 4 but kids still play with dolls and are very childish even when they should supposeidly be 7-14?? i dont think a 14 year old would be playing with dolls. especcialy with the girls and the body adjustments you can make, eg u cannot give the children breasts (or boys muscle) which would be understandable if it was based around 7-10 year olds. but children in the game have no * but when a teen can be ajusted like an adult? it feels like were missing a big part of a sims life and it removes potential gameplay aspects especially because some packs make children in the sims 4 so young like but in other packs also very mature which is just really conflicting. I think pre teens would open many oppurtunitys for new packs and more gameplay.
I wish the game had other colored bricks for the foundations. Maybe I want bright blue bricks with a white trim. I would always appreciate colors like green or purple. The white foundations aren't exactly white, they're base game hue and looks weird around stairs that actually did turn bright white.
I would love to see the same color slide/create color tabs on clothing and hair like they have on the makeup.
It seems The Team is listening, however it looks like its been 5 months since a post was made here, but... Well, I'd really love to have some Wedding Veils for the Bride, and a few more fancy dresses. and A cruise Ship Vacation World maybe with Destinations to Explore. I have not used any mods, My game is Vanilla, so This would be Amazing! I have been playing Sims 4 more than 3 as of Lately, and have All Content. I am a "Nobody" per say, but would Love to see These Additions to the Game... TY ... Just a Simmer!
I think it would be a cool idea to have more mods geared towards younger generations like children and preteens, as stated before by the previous user. Maybe add on the idea of an elementary school interaction similar to Highschool Years, where you can go to the elementary or middle school with the kids also. I just feel that kids don’t get enough add ons and I also think sneaking out should be a thing for all children, PRE TEENS, teens. Also, I know it’s not super appropriate but when will teen pregnancy be a thing also? Another idea I had was to bring back medieval times also. Have expansions with castles and being town royalty would be cool too.
Id love this! I want some genuinely old styled sets, not just modern items in older styles. I would also love a guilded age pack full of opulent furnishings and build items, and a pack with elegant guilded age clothing and hairstyles.
I would really like to see a game pack with a Greek theme including cliffside homes, rounded walls and doorways, variable wall thickness, new stonework walls and flooring, and rounded stairs. Most of the buildings in Greece look like their sculpted from marshmallows - brilliant white with no hard edges. Gorgeous stone and mosaic tile work. It's like another universe.
On the subject of stairs, angles please! It's so annoying to build on an angled but stairs can only go straight, and there are no true spiral stairs. The concrete or plaster fences and stair railings that already have that soft look would look great on curved stairways. It would also be nice to have various step heights to accommodate terrain better.
Lastly (in this volume of "hey EA/Maxis, make the Sims 4 better and more lifelike") let's address terrain limitations, yeah? I'd love to butt a retaining wall up against terrain level changes but there's no straight up slope. Terrain tools help to create a home with walk-out basement but falls short when the terrain won't adhere to the side of a building leaving unsightly gaps that require hours of backfill with plants to hide. It also doesn't allow for partially exposed basements for window placement and/or window wells.
That's all I've got for this time. Thanks!
