I don't know why I never thought of that because I've done this with other pre made holidays. I'll definitely try that out.
Talk like a Pirate day isn't too bad as I found using the pirate option on the morning shower fulfills the requirement.
The Lottery annoys me as it makes all my Sims sad for a whole day because they never win and Sadness moodlets are my pet peeve. Rebate Day never works, it just doesn't register and my Sims are sad again. I could add other activities to those days to try it out. I'm building this week but I'll try it on my new household.

@simsplayer818 and @wayward_daugther , well I tested it again, and unfortunately the Neighborhood Brawl is one of those holidays that can't be altered! 😢 But some holidays like Love Day can be altered to fit your needs! So, you have to check each holiday to see which can be altered and which can only be deleted. Sorry about the confusion! 😅

@PugLove888 Ah that's ok, hopefully we'll be able to delete them permanently one day! 🤕 I don't tolerate violence in my game lol. I feel the same about the Roughhousing Nap.
I do think it's a bug since Winterfest and Harvestfest are easily deleted and because when they are deleted there is actually a warning to tell you it's permanent and the holiday won't come back, but it does. So I hope it's fixed 🤞.

@simsplayer818 it could be a bug. But I guess it isn't a pressing one compared to other bugs. However, Neighborhood Brawl can be deleted, just not altered. Love Day can both be deleted and altered. I think all holidays that came with the game can be deleted, but only the larger ones can be altered. (And by deleted, I guess I mean deleted for one year at a time! 😅😉)
