Re: Making "spouse" and "partner" labels toggleable in CAS

I get why The Sims team introduced gender-neutral relationship terms . That makes perfect sense for inclusivity. But I’m confused why “boyfriend/girlfriend” and “husband/wife” had to be removed instead of just adding options like “partner” or “spouse.” It would be great to have all of those terms available so players can choose what fits their households best. Could those titles be added back to the game?

They are trying to be inclusive but the paradox is that to be truly inclusive you have to ADD options and accept similar terms as equal not subtract from them.
