Suggestion: Native WASD/Controller Support

I would like to propose the idea of native wasd/controller support, similar to the direct controls mod.

While I know that many people have surely proposed this idea, I believe that is all the more reason to add it. 
First Person Mode is quite lackluster as it still uses point to click, but it could be much better if you add wasd/controller support as a toggleable option instead of point to click.

There is also no current modded support for this feature, so it is a massive gap in the player experience that only native support can fix.

So in short I believe that this game could heavily benefit from native wasd/controller support.

    If you think this is a good idea please like and reply, because the more engagement this gets the more likely it is to be seen by someone working on the game.

    I agree completely. I love the immersion of first person mode, I slow down and actually enjoy the enviroments and interactions so much more instead of just fast forwarding everything. But it's incomplete without direct control. The awkwardness of the point and click absolutely ruins it! It's unusable in some cases.

    Also I have no idea why more people aren't actually putting this on the forum, when there are plenty of people talking about it on other sites?

    The "first person" mode was just a side project done by a dev for the fun of it, if I remember correctly. It wasn't something that was done to be a fully featured way to play the game. It was shared because the dev had fun. If you search past interviews/dev livestreams that is where I believe I remember  the bit of that information is from, but it has been a few years. Not sure they will go back to it to implement your request, because it wasn't a project that was directed to be done for the game originally.

    It had interesting results in the past, where people could see the eyes and mouths of the sim they were in direct control over at times. Many players forget that mode even exists. Personally, I don't remember how to get into the mode and actually dislike when I accidentally trigger it.
