We're all weird friend, we're all weird. Some of us are just willing to admit it, while others are in denial.

In all seriousness, the easiest way to copy a sim in this game is to save them to your library then add them back to the household as a new member. It would give you an exact clone, and wouldn't take that long to do either. Of course if the household has multiple sims besides the one you want to clone it would copy and add them all, but you can always delete the ones you don't want.

@valohim666When I load a sim from the gallery, sometimes there are sims with skills. Creating a twin eliminates unnecessary skills, but the twin may not be as similar. Or you can download a sim, enter the neighborhood and reset the skills with a code, this is not very convenient if you have a lot of such sims. This is especially inconvenient for legacy players with rules prohibiting changing the active family. Or when you populate an entire city with Gallery Sims. That is, you first check the skills of a Sim from the gallery, then clean it, then save it to your library, and only then can you add it to the city. And it would be nice to clone appearances for sims and supernaturals. There are also situations where I like the look of a supernatural sim, but I have to heal it first. Or vice versa, in the gallery there is an ordinary sim, but I want to somehow turn it into a supernatural one. So, I would also like to clone any appearance.

Yes, please they need to add this ability to just clone a Sim's look onto another Sim.
