Re: Sims 4 Multiplayer or Online

You mean online function for others to join you? Sims game has always been a one player game other than something like the sims online and mobile games. Sims Online flopped for a reason when it first came out. I don't personally see any merit in it. Sims 4 just wasn't built for that and it never will be. Perhaps the next game whatever it may be might have built for it.
Covid is over and people aren't stuck inside with nothing to do might have paid off by then. Roblox was built for online play and more. Though nowadays it's been rather unsafe for younger players.

This franchise has only ever been a single-player game for me. As an introvert, I see no need to add an option to connect with others while playing the game. This type of functionality would work for its own standalone title, which I would never purchase. 

Also not to mention the fact that this would cause even more issues with players who mod the game or already wait forever for the game to just start up lol. I personally wouldn't want it to become online multiplayer

Ok for all the ones saying they wouldn’t like it fine if it ever became an add on don’t get it-Im just saying it would be a cool way to connect with other people on sims. It would bring life back into the game. I just think it should have already been made by now. 

Obviously that’s why I said it would be better for the game because of the social aspect of it. Who are you to say what sims is built for.. you don’t work for EA anyways like I said before it should have been an option long ago. Sims is giving off antisocial loner vibes always has. I just feel it would be better if there was a live OPTION not mandatory option meaning if people like you don’t want to use it Don’t 

Super aware of that however a  Live option meaning you don’t have to play live mode if you don’t want too wouldn’t hurt the brand it would just make it better

ZzBangZz​, Any online multi-player aspects will take needed resources away from making a better single-player game. That is why I said a multi-player version would only work if it was it's own standalone title. So yes, including any multi-player aspects would "hurt" the game. As a person who has played iterations of the franchise since it started in the 2000's, I can say that for sure. I have seen multiple single-player franchises be ruined by including multi-player options.
