Hello to all my Sim folk out there!! I was just wondering why Sims 4 doesn’t have Live option? And why has it not been thought of? If we had the ability to connect with other sim players I feel the game would be more fun. And less lonely 😞 plus we’d get to meet people that play sims and sadly there isn’t a lot of people who do well at least that’s what I’d think I never meet fellow simmers. And just wondering if I’m the only one with this in mind? Think about when Covid was around wouldn’t it had been cool to create and chat with real people?? I mean Roblox is out and the characters are blocks… we cant do the same? I’m just saying SIMS 4 GO LIVE 2026!!
This franchise has only ever been a single-player game for me. As an introvert, I see no need to add an option to connect with others while playing the game. This type of functionality would work for its own standalone title, which I would never purchase.
Super aware of that however a Live option meaning you don’t have to play live mode if you don’t want too wouldn’t hurt the brand it would just make it better
ZzBangZz, Any online multi-player aspects will take needed resources away from making a better single-player game. That is why I said a multi-player version would only work if it was it's own standalone title. So yes, including any multi-player aspects would "hurt" the game. As a person who has played iterations of the franchise since it started in the 2000's, I can say that for sure. I have seen multiple single-player franchises be ruined by including multi-player options.
