Real life simulation shopping with sims

So my issue is this…. I’ve played the sims for 20 years. I love it, I’ve played on laptops and pcs, I did have it on ps4 but then got a new pc to play on a pc which was fun with mods etc 

I recently got a ps5 and started playing there again 

I have every expansion pack installed a few less on the pc 

I like the the game on the ps5 because it does run a lot smoother 

but saying that there are other times the loading takes too long or the reaction to a button being pressed or switching sims the slight delay is irritating, but anyway, my disappointment right now is the fact I was so excited to get my legacy save to have some depth, with the for rent and the business and hobbies pack it does add more experiences to the game, so I realised I can’t set some beach lots in sulani to be a small business lot, which I thought was stupid, why should a beach lots not have small businesses on there my sims live there, and the biggest **bleep** take was the fact that I can’t have my Sims be visiting someone else’s small business and not be able to buy anything so I can’t have one sim selling paintings and have one of my other sims buy it and have it in their house but it doesn’t let you, this basic life simulation that we all do in real life with furnishings and items from shops like ornaments etc, why in a game like the sims in 2025 is it not possible???? 
especially the hundreds of pounds I’ve spent on both console and pc, these small basic things that add some kind of depth are nowhere to be seen, and the bugs etc when does it end? An official reply or some understanding of why it’s not possible or if it ever will be, would be appreciated and let me know if there are there any work arounds No mods obvs
