@Deborahmosca I agree I'd like to see a better CAS screen. I've seen some PC players CAS screens that look like a mirror and dressing room with a brick wall effect but I don't know if that's standard or from a Mod. Playing on console I've just got a flat bright blueish screen and it's really jarring on the eyes. It starts to irritate mine after a while because I like to add 5 of every outfit so it takes a while.
They've changed the home screen but we don't look at that for very long, with the CAS screen we're staring at it for ages and I think it definitely needs to change.

Yes, anything different than the standard blue-green background comes from a mod. Playing on pc I have access to mod options, but I'm trying to reduce the number of files in that folder. Updates are getting heavy and frequent, so mod maintenance is starting to feel like a chore lately and I play vanilla for ages before I actually get around to re-enable mods. And some features in my mods feel so basic they should be in the vanilla game

The one you mentioned sounds like the CAS background for Sims 3. It would be nice if they brought that back instead of the Fortnite inspired menu screen (although like you said, at least you don't have to stay there long lol).

Just adding a full-length mirror would be helpful. I've picked some clothes for my Sims in the past, never really thinking to check the back of the item. "Oh, this top looks exactly like something this Sim would wear for winter!" Later while in game... "Uh... this top has practically no back... Why does it have such a low-dip back?!"
