we have all accidentally deleted a save i think we should have a little button in the corner where you have you most recently deleted save so they can be recover instead of us having a meltdown of losing a save that we have been working on foe AGESSS
I mean, there’s the autosave feature that creates an autosave file. That’s usually the last version you played. What you’re suggesting only works if EA stops actually deleting saves and instead moves them to a safe intermediary folder—basically a recycle bin for Sims saves. Without that kind of system, a restore button isn’t possible. Autosave is the only real recovery method the game already has.
While they now provide an auto-save feature, another tip many simmers do is make a back up folder for saves on their desktop. I know I shut off autosave because it was one thing that made my game lag.
