I want to address the issue of religious representation in The Sims 4, because the current approach is inconsistent and exclusionary in a way that goes against EA’s own stated values of diversity and...
As a catholic i don't have a crazy deep need to have all of catholicism , but i'd still like to represent myself or people around me. I think accessories would be enough for me, (since we shouldn't depend on objects to practice our faith) because they would be something we could add or not to sims to represent that identity.
But i'd like to see the discatded bow animation from "Snowy Escape" as a base game interaction we can make sims do (Never autonomous please) to statues, paintings, people or places. That way anyone could recreate their beliefs in the game all by themself.
Also i think our sims should be able to create statues through woodworking, clay, ceramics, etc. (Since these objects barely show up in game autonomously) from the franchise like The Watcher, Beelzebeef, Madre Cosecha, Mother Nature, Sulani deities, etc. that ressemble real life things and can help us recreate our beliefs.
P.S.: And the fact the they create by themself could also add an "energy connection" moodlet with it, maybe explained by the magic in the world.
