I also just posted a long thread about my frustrations with the sims 4 for the same reason. The creative limitations of this game has me looking for new options. I’ve been such a loyal sims fan since GameCube days and I’m so annoyed with the constant packs that barely work and the base game is free but no color swatches matching furniture sets with customizable features, just such a lack of depth from this game when we spend so much money on the base game and these expansions, and they’re a buggy mess. It feels like an empty shell of what the game used to be and the graphics weren’t even as good but the gameplay was way better and I loved the customization of sims 3 honestly. I just bought a renewed GameCube to play old games including the sims because I’m so tired of trying to make this game enjoyable for me on console. It seems to be only great for pc players because they use CC and mods.
