Romantic Crush/I Want You Back Phone Calls

It is not that I have a problem with these type of calls, I just have a problem with them when I feel that they are inappropriate. I'll use my sim named Jake for an example. He's happily married, genuine good guy and doesn't have any inclination to cheat on his wife. A good family man. 

Fast forward to me playing a different household that has a sim that Jake had a former romantic relationship with. Yep the call comes in, I want you back, I can't live without you, blah , blah, blah. This drives me up the wall because #1 Jake would not do this. #2 If I accidently mis clicked, relationships can get wrecked. It just doesn't hold true for their character and is distasteful. It would be nice if some checks and balances were put into the game to prevent this. If Jake were still single, ok, he might try and get back together with his ex. But he isn't single and he is not a cheater. It is bad enough this happens all of the time with exes. But also there was some kind of glitch or something that happened in my game and Jake was made engaged to a baby. I managed to fix it somehow but I couldn't remove that it happened. So the baby is now a man, happily married and he gets calls from Jake saying he wants him back and can't live without him. It's bananas. Kind of makes me feel like relationships aren't worth much if a 10 minute accidental engagement to a baby can mean so much. 

So I guess basically what I am trying to say in all of that is, put in some kind of check and if a person is married, don't let those calls occur because it is just instigating trouble and I can cause that all on my own if I want. Now if they were just dating someone, I can live with the phone calls because it ain't over until it's over right?
