We need a pack with actual sports not just playing basketball in your backyard.
Currently we have soccer, extreme sports, cheerleading and basketball. We need to have other sports like rugby, gymnastics, competitive swimming, tennis or cricket.
Having these sports as a competitive mode like with teams would be an excellent addition for extracurriculars . This could expand from the Base Game Athlete career and instead being an Olympian and competing for your chosen sport as well as being a ball boy or girl for a part-time career.
This would help the struggles of building a bedroom for a male Sim, with new team merch and miscellaneous decor.
What do you think and anymore ideas?
I was playing yesterday and thinking this myself! This would be a great fix… a big one I want is hockey because we already have ice rinks… But yes, in general more sports!! And not just play around in the back yard, actual pro level that can go up to the Olympic level… I think it would be cool to have a sports career that advances all the way to Olympian, and like it does with the actor career, you advance celebrity status (of course people can turn this off if they don’t want it). But yeah, huge thing for me is being able to go with your sim to work as they train/practice with teammates, workout, etc. For the actual competing part, I think it’d be really cool to watch teams actually compete against each other because that sort of thing hasn’t been done yet, but if it’s a rabbit hole like what they do for equestrian competitions for example, I suppose that would work, just not my preferred.
I posted something almost exactly like this – I agree! Would love to have a hockey team or some way to make a team like how you can make a group when you hang out. A sports career would be awesome. I love the idea for the advancing celebrity status.
You could even have groups join countries by having flags for each country. Click on the flag, join the team, start a competition in x sport. If there is some issue with country flags, you could make them just colors. If the Olympics is copyright, don't call it that; just call it the SIMS games... or something.
