@TabrisElfLover That was bothering me so much since the feature is somehow useless after the first generation because all the kids will just stay there and grow old and die with their siblings.
I actually made a mod that extends Neighborhood Stories with marriage (it's on CurseForge and called Neighborhood Stories Marriage). I haven't added a divorce option yet though, but that's something I'd like to do.
So far I'm really happy using it and I just can't understand at all why it has not been done officially after such a long time...

Yeah, I’ve been using MCCC set to only do marriages (and only adults because I’ve had my Sims’ hearts broken by MCCC marriage because I slow played it and their love interest married someone else). Otherwise, yeah, you have the household of seven siblings who never marry and die of old age childless.
Of course, this creates the issue where any family-oriented Sim immediately fills all household slots with babies and then dies, leaving a single teen to raise them all. 🤣 But at least my population doesn’t die out in the second generation!
(If you don’t or can’t use mods, you can wander around in managed worlds creating marriages, but that takes time and maintenance.)

@flauschtrudI don't have CurseForge but I do currently use MC Command Center since it makes the world feel a little more alive without me having to micromanage every part of it. There's maybe once in a while where I need to intervene or alter something but otherwise, I just let MCCC do it's thing. Still would be nice if there was an official feature with NS though. The fact that people can toggle whichever things they want active (or turn off NS all together) doesn't make it forced compared to how it was in Sims 3.
@daikoyuI mean if people are not taking the time to check their mods then that's a problem on their end. Sims 4 has a lot of problems, but sometimes it's a mod that's causing the worse issue because it's broken or outdated. If you're going to use mods in a game, then that comes with the territory. Check your mods before blaming it all on the game itself.
