Sims constantly autonomously flirt with sims other than their partner?

Yes, this!  

EA needs to get onto this issue. My sims flirt non-stop. Teens even with elders, married or not. It puts the romance bar up, even within family members or their step parent. It is becoming ridiculous, makes me not even want to play anymore.
