Sims who 'Go Here Together' don't go together

Another situation might be if a younger, faster grandchild and an older, slower grandparent "Go Here Together". It would be very rude (although perhaps realistic) for the grandchild to run off without waiting for the grandparent.

My only concern is that I use “go here together” to regather a group that’s scattered around a lot. I wouldn’t want to have to wait for the slowest of them to arrive at some arbitrary point the game picks as the start so they can then all walk together to the point I clicked on. But maybe if they reworded the current functionality as “gather here” and kept it, then created a new “go here together”?

This thread really feels more like feedback than a bug.

Hmm... I hadn't considered "Go Here Together" as a way to gather Sims who are scattered around a lot. But I like the idea of separate "Gather Here" and "Go Here Together" actions, because they really are different things.

Another possibility would be for Sims who "Go Here Together" to stay together once they get close to each other. If they aren't close to another Sim, then they just head to the destination on their own.

For example, if you're using "Go Here Together" to call half a dozen family members together to the dining room, then you might have:
- the kids playing in the backyard stay together and come as a group (even though the older ones have to wait for the toddler)
- Grandma is upstairs, and comes down on her own
- Grandpa is in the bedroom, so starts down the hall. Meanwhile, Dad is in the bathroom and heads down the hall. When he catches up with Grandpa, then the two of them walk together the rest of the way.
