@SqueamishNerd I agree. The ability to buy Sky Lanterns and allow everyone in the household release them at once would be a beautiful sight and family activity. Would've made a nice festival activity, like the City Living firework finale.
I'd never noticed this before! I only have a couple of Sims with that trait because they were getting sad if they felt out of touch with Tomarang.
But it would be a nice thing to be able to do. I actually looked at the floating lanterns in Mt Komorebi at the festival of light and wondered if we could interact with that feature but it seems to be decorative only. To be able to all release lanterns would be really cool.
