"Surfaces" in house portrait

Okay, I love the little house portrait in build mode. Click on a room, click on the object, have all the options. It's a really good way to organize things. However, I really think there needs to be a surfaces option in the house portrait for shelves, china cabinets, display cabinets, etc. It's a really common object to add yet it's a hassle needing to go into the search menu for it every time.
