Taking a break from the Sims 4

I've taken a break from the game a few times. Like anything in life, if you're exposed to it for too long you can get burned out on it, and you need time away

Taking breaks from the sims is the best way to play it 😁I only play it on weekends now and play other games on my Switch during the week if I get time. I find it's begins to fall apart if I play it daily, lag, sim slowdown, weird glitches etc occur more frequently the more you play and honestly I'm having more fun on the sims than I did before, it's definitely more stable if I just pop on for a couple days do the event at the moment, expand my legacy family, do a few home improvements and some other random things and log off till next week. Also it's a good way to keep your eyes on new updates and if it's broken anything, I haven't even done the newest update yet cause I like to browse the forum after an update has dropped see the state of things and if it's broken anything major I don't play till it's fixed lol Hopefully after your break you'll rekindle your fun for the game and enjoy playing again. Taking a break is a positive thing  😀❤️

Yeah a break can be a good thing. I had a long break from ts4 once. It started when whims were updated to wants and fears, because I was very upset with how some traits were just left without wants at all. To be honest I'm still upset about it, but time makes you forget, or maybe rather adapt to how things are.

I'm a bit hesitant to play my ts4 save now too, because there really are many bugs that I'd like to see fixed. It's also so hot that I find it hard to focus on playing. Today I played ts1 instead and that was nice. I had already planned to play it when the summer vacation started, but I was too busy with ts4 until now 😂

I keep thinking about playing, only to get put off by the bugs. :/
