Forum Discussion
When the Modern Menswear kit was released there was quite the commotion over at the old sims forums, the timing was interesting because we had a large thread where we discussed clothing that we wanted for men, we talked a lot about wanting more formal wear. And when the kit was announced a lot of people (including me) were very clear that sweaters with holes in them and skirts was not what we wanted.
But I think that Maxis have improved since then, packs after that often featured some unique clothing for men, including shirts, pants and formal wear. I still think we need more jackets and sweatshirts as those are so common for masculine sims, but it's way better than what it used to be.
Tops in Business & Hobbies tagged for masculine and not available for feminine sims unless you deselect the tag.Maxis sometimes tags feminine clothing for men, you can see that I cut out some tops there that are more feminine (and are also tagged feminine) but what they seem to do more now is that they make clothing that are a mix of feminine, masculine and also gender neutral. At least that's the impression I got from Business & Hobbies which I bought recently. It also looks like they put in work to make clothing very compatible with both frames in this pack as well, no jagged lines or anything like that like we have seen sometimes.
