@Jfranz18 @jpkarlsenThe iPad Pro with M1 chip will be absolutely capable of running the game now. It has the same chip as the MacBook Airs, 13" MacBook Pros and Mac minis released at the end of last year which can happily run the game. It is also the same chip in the newly announced iMacs.
The M1 Macs can also run iPhone and iPad apps due to the new architecture. However, the M1 iPad Pros will still be running iPadOS, not macOS, and Sims 4 is developed for macOS and Windows.
One of two things needs to happen to be able to play the current Sims 4 on the M1 iPad - Either EA need to develop a version for iPadOS or Apple need to make it possible for the iPad to run macOS.
If you have a compatible Mac you could use the iPad as a second display using Sidecar but that's all it is, a second display. The game would still need to be installed and running on the Mac -
