There's little life in the game, few sims in different places

It would be great if, when my Sim goes to another Sim's lot, the other Sims appeared inside the lot instead of all being outside their houses; and if more Sims appeared when I go somewhere, since only one or two appear in each location, whether it's a bar, a gym, a library, a restaurant, etc. It feels empty when there are hardly any Sims in the different places and they only start arriving when my Sim is already there...
