THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!!
This is exactly why Game Developers should not have access to customers' games after purchase. This Grim Reapers event is the worst of the worst moves that EA's The Sims 4 has made. Back when games were just about $30 bucks, you didn't have to worry about this type of crap. You spent your $30, the game is yours. EA didn't have the right to bother you, your game, or your gameplay. They didn't have the right to tell you "we don't encourage Modding" and retaliate by making your mods break with all these random updates and event challenges. Every time The Sims 4 team decides to do this, it comes with a power punch of glitches. On top of that, I'm not even interested in completing the challenge this Reaper event comes with. I just came to Sims 4 to play the game, my way. That's it.
Including tax, I've spent; $42 for all, but one, expansion packs, $21 for each Game pack, and $12 for stuff pack. Again, I owned all but one expansion, you do the math for the amount of money I've spent. It's my game. The fact that you randomly come up with some uninteresting Grim Reaper event disturbing my gameplay is ridiculous and unacceptable. I can't even access the options menu to save and exit the game. The game won't even go to the "manage world" screen. How am I supposed to play without being able to save progress? I don't need anyone to tell me to move my Mods folder to the desktop and delete a file, or any of these other work around. IT IS NOT MY FAULT EA GAMES AND THE SIMS 4 TEAM DECIDED TO DO THIS. If it were my choice I would have opted out because I've seen this act far too many times. I just re-downloaded all these games back on my system about a week ago because frankly, Sims 4 is occupying too much space. I barely have room for anything else. I've got half the mind to delete the game again and for good. Meanwhile not spend another dime. If you ask me, this is intrusive and bad customer service.
