Transferable packs - console to PC

Hello everybody!

I used to play the sims 4 on console for many years. I recently got a laptop and began playing on there. Over the years I've bought lots of packs on my ps4, but as a lot of you may know, it is not possible to tranfere packs from console to PC. 

While I understand that it is not currently possible because packs on different platforms are bought from different companies; I feel it's unfair that someone moving between different PCs is able to acces their packs while people moving from console to PC aren't. 

My idea is that players could somehow generate a code from their console which then could be redeemed in the EA app on the computer (?). As far as I understand it's challenging to make such a thing possible because of different agreement needing to be made across companies, but as long a more people push for this change it could become reality.
