I would like to suggest bringing something back which is in the PC version. Bring back vehicle Sims can drive around to travel or for work. This would allow us to make driveways and garage.
Also, please put the controller settings back to what it was as I don’t play for a long period because the control buttons are confusing.
@nhvijtwds2q5 we've asked for this for a while but logistically I'm told it's quite problematic without an open world and that's been the definitive answer for a while. But there are decorative cars in Debug which I still haven't tried and other players are more knowledgeable on that subject. There are also the cars in Decorations though and I use one of those and place it on a drive outside a house, I blow it up in size. To get the right size for me I make it 8x the size of the toy. I'd actually be happy just with more cars added in this way, particularly as we have horse trailers now.
To make a garage, if you have City Living there is a garage door in outdoor activities which is for painting murals but I use it as a garage door. I put one either side of the wall to look realistic. If you don't have City Living, I've used 3 or 4 tiles of coloured siding to get a similar effect and then used a wall covering that has edges to create an edge around the mock door, or a flat style column can work too at a pinch.
To make a drive, it depends on the lot type. If the house is on a deck or platform I use a section of roofing, place it on the ground and use the gravel roofing to cover it, because there is a matching flooring for that so I can match the ground and deck to the roof section and make it all look like one big drive. There are metal coverings too but I find the gravel looks more effective. If it's on raised terrain, you can just create a drive by creating a terrain ramp.

Is it possible to bring a car pack to sims 4? Like something inspired by fast and furious! I would really love to see them be able to do racing as a career.

Hoopty = Embarassed moodlet (maybe depending on traits, your sim may actually love this car and have a different moodlet)
Sports/luxury car = Confident moodlet
Maybe they have an impact on Eco Footprint? Electric/gas cars

I miss the cars to sit in the driveways plus the small expansion were you could repair an old car perhaps bring an expansion in where you could become a race car driver ranging in different types of racing to top notch racer or go the garage route from shopkeep to lead mechanic and an ambition to be a world renowned car collector of rare cars such as old classics from each of the sims that came out where you could own a car, and call the expansion living the fast track also could have train conductors since there subway decor for some the worlds and different kinds of vehicle careers. as i mentioned before the race car driver to garage mechanic and the train conductor you could include detailers for washing cars to adding the fancy things like underbody lights, airplane pilots to farmer with different tractors like the one expansion from sims 3 and hot air balloons. plus don't forget to mention the military side could include coaster guard, marine's to air force. there are endless possibilities it doesn't have to include all types of each one but a small variety also some that can be unlocked as you progress with carries or making achievements for car collecting.
It was said by simgurus on Twitter that once we get horses, we will be able to get cars. Do you think it will be something we will get this year?
Having horses doesn't mean that there can be cars. The issue is the same no open world to drive around in. You can compare horses to bicycles it is possible to ride them off-road.
I believe our sims deserve a better transportation system, where you can expand on the get to work if there is no expectations of sims 5 for a while, the least we can manage is details. Horses are great but I miss the driving aspects in sims, I can be a celebrity but no car?
Being a Sims player since introduced to it back in 2004, I've gotten every Sims game except Sims 3. I didn't like it too much. But I really loved Sims 2 because it actually had cars you could drive and garage doors that actually worked. If they could put that into Sims 4, I would play 24/7. I haven't played in a while because it just seems a bit boring. I know they have new expansion packs and I'll get those once I feel like Sims 4 is worth my time.
