I think the game can continue to grow with new upcoming packs, bug fixes, and possible updates like age sliders. Because Sims 4 is still a very successful game. But for those who prefer less realistic and cozy, cute graphics, they can continue with Sims 4. I think continuing with Sims 4 and releasing Project Rene as a side game is their best move.
