My assumption is that the social media team is only on X and they enjoy the echo chamber mentality. They have proven to me to believe they only need to communicate with who they want as a target audience. I am not on X because it is just an echo chamber for a certain type and has been for several years before Musk even purchased it. It was pointless to join when I am the kind of person many of them would prefer to cancel outright. They should communicate with their own forums, and we should not have to rely on someone posting comments from X via secondhand. It would be the smarter thing to do, but this is EA we are talking about, so I already know my opinions will be ignored.

Hey all!
We do also share the updates from TheSimsDirect on Twitter in the official Discord as well, in fact we actually have a whole channel in the Discord dedicated to it.
Unfortunately yesterdays update wasn't shared in that space as our Discord admin was out of office, and word had already gotten around by this morning when she returned.
The fact of the matter is that it takes a small team to update the EA News site, whereas it only takes one person to send a tweet/make a post in Discord.
If those options feel too limiting, @simgirl1010 has you covered here as she's able (I often try to beat her to the punch on these, and I think I won one time out of a hundred).

@EA_Cade I appreciate the points you shared - efficient and wise use of available staff is important. Thanks
Also, I do see the most recent update is in fact on the official discord & EA website and @simgirl1010 's pinned thread >> (e-patch roll out 3/6 to fix multiple issues! Hooray!)
