'A Permanent Resident' Event Progress Not Resetting After Save Rollback

Hello SimGurus and fellow Simmers,

I am reporting a critical bug with the limited-time **'A Permanent Resident' (Forever Friends) Event**.

**Issue Summary:**
The event progress is **stuck on my account** and will not reset, even after attempting to roll back my game. My goal is to **play the event again from the very beginning (Week 1)**, but the current state prevents this.

**Steps I Have Taken (Troubleshooting):**
1.  **I attempted a full save file rollback** by loading a very old save (from **July 2025**, which is over two months before the event officially started in September 2025).
2.  Despite loading the old save, the event window still appears and shows its previous progress, confirming the issue is **server-side** and not local to the save file.

**Goal and Request:**
Since the local troubleshooting methods are failing, this indicates the event completion status is likely **stuck on my EA account's server data**.

I am requesting that an EA staff member **manually reset the progress value of the 'A Permanent Resident' event** on my account so that I can experience it again from the start.

**My Environment:**
* **Platform:** PC (or Mac/Console, please specify)
* **Mods/CC:** Yes, I am using the **MC Command Center (MCCC) mod**. (I have also checked the MCCC channels for a console command, but a server-side fix is needed).

time limited events

    Please follow these steps to test  your game on vanilla game with no mods/cc

    - Create a backup of your save game
    - Move your mods folder to the desktop
    - Delete the following files from your user folder.
      - localthumbcache
      - Any lastException Files
      - Any LastCrash files.
    - Test on the backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

     I've used both, so it doesn't matter  , I deleted this and it's more ruined I have all the dlc but it keeps saying that the items are disappearing

    Yes, event progress is saved to the user, not to a save. Not losing progress even if the game crashes or you switch saves is working as intended - though I think on some past events if you removed the user data file before the event ended, progress would reset. Not sure if that’s still possible or if they’ve made it more robust due to people having bugs where they lost past event rewards.

    was that in your mods folder ? This looks like you deleted some game installation files the game needs. Make sure to repair your game.

    The mod folder is in your user folder. Did you use curseforge to install it ?

    That said, I think I misunderstood what you're asking. Thought you were getting errors.

    Yeah you can't remove your progress. I don't think anyone can reset your progress made.
