Just started playing after like 2 years. I’m having the same issue with the acting career.
I have mods installed, specifically the Plumjob career overhaul, and thought the mod was the culprit. However, from these comments, and after removing the mod, it seems like this is a long-standing bug.
Please fix EA. I will be submitting a report.
I'm having the same issue. What helps me is: Right after you get the role, save and go to manage worlds. Return and your tasks should appear
I know this is annoying, but maybe this helps :)
(Sadly this also counts if you get the no more auditions fame perk)
