Actor Sim Won’t Accept Gigs

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click on the "Check Open Auditions" button in the Career tab for an Actor Sim, or the "Check for Gigs" button on the Sim's phone. Choose a gig from the list of gigs that pops up - nothing happens. The gig name and prep tasks do not show up in the Career tab.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I try to have my Sim sign up for acting gigs (by clicking on the "Check Open Auditions" button in the Career tab, or Check for Gigs the phone), the list of auditions pops up. I am able to see all the available auditions and click on them. However, when I select a gig, nothing happens after that. The gig and prep tasks do not show up in my Sim's Career tab.
What do you expect to see? After selecting a gig from the menu, the gig and prep tasks for the gig should show up in the Sim's Career tab.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

My Actor Sim is at level 10 of her career. This issue occurs for me regardless of which acting agency my Sim is signed up with. It also seems to occur with specific acting gigs more frequently (the history ones such as Tournament of Honor) but it does occur regardless of which gig you pick most of the time.
