All of my rental lots have disappeared

I haven't had the Rental pack for very long. I think I have only had it for a few days. I bought a few properties and now they're gone. The game is telling me that I do not own any businesses. I have even tried to buy bare lots to build rentals on. When I finally finish those houses, it still says the same thing. In live mode it says that I can't walk into the house because no one lives there. I don't know how to fix it. I have searched the forums here and on Reddit and I can't find anything that helps.
