Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 saves/user content disappearing (PC)

Pulled today’s update and installed. 
I had last played/ saved my game on July. 
I back up my saves every month because I have a legacy play through. However, when I installed the patch all of my saves were gone. It acted as though I had uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I had not. 
I am on PC. So now I have to go and do about 8-12 hours of world building and back story to get caught up to where I was. I am just wondering if I am the only one that this happened to?!
