An "enhancement pack" as opposed to a new expansion pack?

would it be possible for EA to bring out an "Enhancement Pack" that contains things like:

an adjustment for all the older worlds so that sims could swim in all the rivers and lakes;

the ability to offer nectar my sim has made to visitors to drink;

being able to interchange manure from horses and chickens and cows, so that all of them can fertilise all different types of gardens.

I'm sure there are more things like this that could be added. I would be prepared to pay the same amount as for an expansion pack to get these functionalities.

    Cross-pack feautures should definitely NOT be something we should pay for. But some sort of update/refresh would be nice!! I'd love to swim in lakes/seas of older worlds if that was possible :}

    I agree that we shouldn’t have to pay for this. But if the alternative is not getting these functionalities at all, I would rather pay and get them.

    I am hoping that someone from EA reads this and considers it.

    the other thing I would like to see is the ability to have more control over townies. There seems to be either the option to have them move on in their lives or not. I would like to be able to have more control over what I control, if that makes sense. For example, I am happy for them to get married and have or adopt children, but I would like the ones that are married to stay married and for them only to have children within a marriage.
