[ARCHIVED] Gallery Connection Troubleshooting/ Status: Online

Cannot Connect to the The Sims4 Gallery starting last night. Have tried a handful of the current options to solve and to no avail. Is there Any gallery maintenance happening right now?

@Lizaster523 If you tried everything else and are still having issues this is what I did to fix mine: Start up Sims 4, go to Game Options. From there navigate to the Other tab. Uncheck the box that says Online Feature Access and then click Apply Changes (if you don't click apply changes it wont work). Then check the same box again and Apply changes again. It kind of seems to restart the online access. Mine immediately auto reconnected and to my excitement that fixed it.

@Orthodoxlily That did not work for me. The problem where it permanently "spins" and tries to connect until it times out still persists even trying that.

Have also tried flushing DNS, clearing cache, reinstalling The Sims 4 through both Origin and Steam, reinstalling Origin entirely, and pretty much every other connection troubleshooting I've found in the forums or Reddit.

It's funny that this happens the exact week I decide to play some The Sims 4 after almost 1 year without playing it.

Thanks for this suggestion. I was able to get a message that connection attempt failed rather than the incessant spinning. Still no joy, but at least I got the game to respond in some way using your method. 🙂

@Orthodoxlily I don't know if what you suggested helped or not. I followed your steps and nothing happened. Then I decided to disconnect the online options, hit Apply and exited the game. I immediately started it up again, then reenabled the online options. Nothing happened. But I tried four more times to connect (letting it try to connect for about 20 seconds each time) and on the last time it did. So, thank you? 🙂 I just hope when I go back in later it's still working. 🤔

  I also unchecked the online features access and it worked up untill i went to my library to start uploading then disconnected again
  This is must be an issue on ea's end

    Anyone from EA available to comment on these issues? It's been going on for awhile and we're clearly frustrated.
