Stuck on loading screen after placing lot from gallery
stuck on loading screen after placing not from gallery. if I try to download 2 or more lots from the gallery, the game will freeze. if it doesn't, if will freeze during loading. I occasionally can't saved. I get save errors. I rarely play with scrip mod except for pose player and post pack. My game is unplayable.
Gallery Not Available
Is anyone else having trouble with the Gallery? I only have an option to access my own Library but no option to look at the Gallery. I tried signing out and back in but it didn't recognize my password so I reset that. Opened game and still no Gallery option. Quit, repaired game. Still no Gallery option. Quit, removed all mods, still no Gallery option. Any suggestions?
My Library Sims and Lots
I've been playing a Forever Sims save file since I started playing the game way back when. It's only recently that I've been getting deeper into the game and learning more about it. This past week I've been considering starting a New Game to reset certain aspects on my worlds and Sims BUT I have grown attached to my Forever Sims from my original save file. I have been wondering if when I save my households to My Library, does that include everything ie. earned traits from achievements, household funds, etc.? Or does it just save their appearance and base traits? I don't want to part with years of progress with this Sims. I've created a deep lore for these Sims that I don't want to part ways with just to reset the world. I guess I kind of want to have my cake and eat it too.[Xb1] Specific Sim getting deleted/culled?
Hi all. (Or should I say, sul sul…)🙃 I downloaded a custom sim from the gallery for my game. I went about making her family, moved them into a house, and then…she just disappeared completely, like she didn’t exist! I tried several times, and several things- Going back into CAS, importing her from gallery, yadda yadda- same result. I tried merging her from Live Mode, and nothing…At one point, her sim was still there on the lot, but I couldn’t control her, and she was missing from the little Sim icons at the bottom. I tried resetting her but it said she didn’t exist! I even completely deleted every townie, upped the Sim limit to none, and uninstalled/redownloaded my game and packs. It is still not working. I’m missing several of the add-on packs for her sim (turns out the Motherlode cheat doesn’t work irl, I can’t even get the cheat console to open in my house- ba dum tss..) ; but I made do with the cosmetics I had. I really just wanted an accurate Harley face. 💔It only happens with her- and her model has a few reposts/ edits under different Simmers. (For anyone wondering, it’s the Margot Robbie model by Sil_Guez, reworked as Harley Quinn by AngelDust_boom) (beautiful work btw; also totally not their fault I know- they might have posted from PC, not console!) Anybody have tips? So, is this a pack issue? Because it doesn’t change her face mapping at all- just takes off hair, clothes etc. (which I can replace with other similar stuff.) I should get going. The sims 4 pets unmergable in cas?
I recently tried to merge this really cute dog into my sims household, however every time I try it doesn't load? I've tried making a new game folder in Documents and I've even removed all of my mods to ensure it wasn't messing up my game. I was unable to actually capture video footage of what was happening so I tried my best to capture it with screenshots. However I'm guessing this is a bug from the recent update? (I have all EPs, SPs, GPs, Kits. I pretty much have everything) I just really want to play the game without all these bugs and/or issues. (screenshots down below!!) If anyone has and input of what I can do to fix this I greatly appreciate it!!!gallery says i used packs i didn't!
hi all!! first post here so my apologies if i am unfamiliar with the etiquette. i just uploaded a house i made with only Horse Ranch and base game, but when I upload it, it says I have items from Snowy Escape. I had the filter on to only see Horse Ranch and base game while building, and I've gone over the build a dozen times now, and I can't seem to find anything from Snowy Escape. I even looked through all the Snowy Escape items to see if I recognized any of them from this build. If it was a household I would upload each member to check, but since it's a lot I don't know what to do! The other posts I've seen, the builder ended up figuring it out on their own or giving up. Hoping someone can help me!! :) Thank you in advanced!
Specific Gallery Lot Won't Place
Hi :) I found that this specific gallery lot of mine won't place, which ends up with the place lot screen looking like the below screenshot seemingly forever. I have to alt+f4 out of the game. I've changed from dx11 to dx9, something recommended online, but it hasn't worked. It also seems to only be this specific lot. Other lots in my gallery library have the 'Item Is Corrupted...' bug, but this one doesn't, so I'm not sure why it's not loading. Any help would be appreciated (also with the gallery 'Item Is Corrupted' bug if possible), thank you!
