@SoyokoAnis Windows is fully updated as are the drivers. Along with checking drivers for my router through my internet company as well. As of right now I have fully uninstalled again and am going to test with just the base game to see if the gallery will come up. The next try is going to be using an old computer I have to rule out if it's this computer set up(Which is more than capable of running the sims) or not.
I haven't been able to connect to the gallery or any other online features in game for almost two months now. I keep getting a notification saying 'connection is required' and when I click 'connect', it says 'unable to go online' and that there is no connection available. I've tried everything I've seen mentioned on old threads including -
-Making sure I have online enabled both in origin and in game
-Repaired my game
-I am connected through an ethernet cable, so I changed it to wifi, and unplugged and replugged the ethernet
-Made sure I made exceptions for both origin and the sims in my firewall and anti-virus, even disabling windows defender completely and that wasn't the issue
-I am not running legacy edition, nor is my account underage, I've never had issues connecting before.
-I've cleared both origin and Sims cache following guides posted in old threads
-Deleted all of my mods and cc
-Moved the tray folder out to the desktop
-Reset my router
-Winsock reset
-Uninstalled then reinstalled both origin and the game
The only things that has worked is running as administrator, but that took away my save files and made actual game play almost impossible. I also changed my LAN settings by disabling the proxy server. This worked, but I only had the base game installed. When I reinstalled my packs and launched the game again, I no longer was able to connect.
I'm honestly at a loss on what to do. I've been attempting to fix this for a while now and nothing I've tried that I've seen suggested in old posts has worked.

I'm having the exact same issue and have done all the same things! Still nothing is working ☹️
I thought it fixed itself because one day I played while origin had recently updated and it worked for a couple hours of gameplay, then the following day: can't connect.
