My gallery has not been working for a while. I have tried everything I can think of. When I try to connect, it says I am offline even though Origin is connected and my WiFi works fine. I have reinstalled, repaired, taken all of my mods and cc out, taken the entire Sims 4 folder out, to no avail. Sometimes it will connect initially but every item shows up with a red x and cannot be found. It works on the same Origin account on a different computer.

It's possible your antivirus may be blocking your connection and there are instructions for adding exceptions here (also included in the above link).[CURRENT ISSUE] Anti-Virus blocking User Folder (Screenshots/Gallery/Mods..) - Answer HQ

I don't know where to put this post so I add here, This is a temporary workaround for those who do not have an antivirus
Recently, I also have problems connecting to the Gallery. I don't have antivirus so this is not the case. I found the solution and it works for me 9 out of 10. I open Origin, click the word Origin at the top of the page on the left and choose "Refresh page". Then I run the game from Origin and after starting the game, Gallery is available.- 4 years ago@kreatora Thank you so much ! This worked in an instant ! My gallery is available again !

@ashpokemon1 I'm sorry you haven't been able to resolve this issue. Have you tried the suggestion by @kreatora?
Open Origin, click the word Origin at the top of the page on the left and choose "Refresh/Reload page". Then launch the game from Origin and check the Gallery.
