Autonomy

Hi there

I am playing sims 4 on ps4, I have turned autonomy off, but my sims still end up going home while they are supposed to work at the retail store...

@GoosieNell Setting Autonomy to "Off" has the stipulation that it will still trigger if "The Sims life is in danger". This is a hardcoded behavior (if you want to prevent your sims from leaving an area, try locking the doors for "Everyone" and/or that specific sim). Also IME (which is only on PC) Retail Stores are automatically closed after a certain hour - when that happens all employees go home regardless of autonomy. It's labor laws y'know?

Thank you for your input. I can't lock the doors, it is a retail store,I have customers coming and going. And the sims want to go home, even in the morning, when they just opened the store.

You /could/ lock for "Specific Sim" and only lock it for your controlled sim, this wouldn't interfere with customers but it won't prevent other employees from leaving...

edit: Also Sims are like people in the fact that they can be lazy and kinda mess around on the job. If you see one not working at your retail store consider it's the design of the game. (also Autonomy should NOT effect sims that are controlled by other "households" - this would result in A LOT of problems, and largely means the player would be better off alone in the world.)
