what do you mean by exactly as normal ? I think that was the task where you have to dig for stuff ? Just use any dirt pile or crystal and there should be an interaction.

I have talked to him got the task telling me to find time capsule have mined all the rocks with gems in them already and no new ones re-generating with the time capsule in it.
